Had my first omakase experience here over 10 years ago at Shiro’s and have been back a handful of times in-between then and now. I've always had a great experience dining here from the customer service to the quality of fish they serve. I love the personal touch from dining at the bar and learning from the Chefs about the different fishes they serve from local or International waters. Recently went while some friends who were visiting Seattle from out of town, and we had the greatest time doing Shiro’s Omakase at the bar. I really enjoyed the green tea with sakura petals. I love that everytime I've been here, there are subtle changes to the experience. Highly recommend as always.

Fantastic dining experience. We went with the chef’s choice sushi course, 19 pieces of nigiri over the course of 5 courses for $85. Their omakase at the bar seemed similar but more interaction with the chefs for $185. The first three courses were our favorite. Our server was also knowledgeable and engaging. They were also able to switch out a fish my partner was allergic to! Tiramisu was surprisingly amazing! Can’t wait to be back

Shiro’s sushi is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. It feels traditional and comfortable, and the seafood is truly top notch. They have two options for their main menu - A selection of 19 nigiri over 5 courses for $85 per person (what we went with) or a seat at the omakase bar during select times for $140 per person. I think it’s a really good deal either way and you definitely get what you pay for. All 5 omakase courses featured a variety of fish that are either local or flown in from all over the world, mostly from Japan. The omakase was presented beautifully and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about each fish/course. The variety of fish presented made it a super interesting experience. My favorites include the 4 kinds tuna, the uni roll really stood out to me - it was fragrant with a generous portion, and I loved the 5th course with the variety of textures ranging from a toro roll to the egg omelette. The scallop was fantastic and super fresh. Lastly, the miso marinated black cod is my favorite fish entree ever. It is AMAZING. highly recommend. If you love sushi half as much as I do, I cannot recommend this place enough - it’s truly amazing.

Best sushi of my life. Great staff. Exceptional food. Sean was extremely interactive and “sexy”. This place is must try whenever you’re in Seattle. Book in advance for the omakase experience only 8 seats available at the bar.

The tempura and sushi courses were amazing- great quality and delicious. The fish was different countries, and very fresh. We enjoyed the 5 course meal and would highly recommend it.

We were only in town for a very short time and staying in the area. We had walked past several times and noted that it seemed like a nice spot to dine, but had been taking in all of the fun eateries by the pier. The last evening in town, our friend in the area was able to meet for dinner and booked us a table. I am not an expert, but I'm not a newbie either, just a person who enjoys good food. Let's just say that this was a treat and an excellent way to end our trip. Each course was delicious and I liked that our waitress would come and explain how to eat each set for the best taste (with soy sauce, without, etc) We left feeling satisfied in both the quality and amount of food and service.

Service was probably the best thing here. Food was definitely of quality, I could say that I probably didn’t like one out of the 10 things I was served. But it all was super fresh. Again all servers were amazing and super nice!

My wife and I ate at the omakase here at the bar! While it's not as edomai as Kashiba (all pieces had some sauce or seasoning on top), the taste was fantastic. Additionally, the environment is very casual so there were many friendly discussions and no concern of noise. The restroom is shared with other restaurants unfortunately, but the service was amazing as well. If I had to dine-in, I would go to Kashiba. However, for omakase Chef Sean and Taro gave us an unforgettable, enjoyable omakase experience. Will def recommend to others!
